Energy-efficient Evaporartive Condenser

Evaporative condensers are used to remove excess heat from cooling systems. The excess heat is removed by evaporating water.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The process fluid circulates within the coils of the evaporative condenser. Heat from the process fluid transfers through the coil walls to the water flowing externally over the coil surface.
Simultaneously, ambient air is drawn through the intake louvers at the base of the unit. This air flows upward counter-current to the water direction, passing over the coil assembly. A portion of the water evaporates, absorbing latent heat of vaporization and thereby removing thermal energy from the system.
The resulting warm, humid air is then drawn by the fan toward the top of the closed-loop cooler and discharged into the atmosphere. Non-evaporated water falls into the sump at the base of the unit, where it is recirculated by pumps through the water distribution system to re-enter the spray cycle over the coils.
